Mystery Heads Extra

Yui's head watches her body change her clothes as she felt sad watching her. After the body does so, she looks at her head despite not having eyes.

"Yui, what's wrong?" asked the body.

"I just miss being able to wear clothes or being attached. I am not sure if I am Yui or if you are Yui. Am I just a copy of her memories or you?" said the head.

"The best thing we can come up with is that we are both Yui. To make is simple, I'll call you head and you call me body. Anyone else can call you Yui's head and call me Yui's body. Together we are Yui." said the body telepathically.

"That sounds kind of cute." said the head, "Now, how can we get past 'our' parents?"

"Scarf." said the body.

The body has a scarf and wraps it around her neck. She then places her head on it's neck as Yui's head felt wobbly. Though it stood still.

"It feels so soft." said Yui's head she begin walking only for her head to fall off. She rolled all the way to the door with a thud.

"Ow." said the head.

"Sorry. You know what they say about crazy things like this. Heads will roll." said the body.

"Ha ha, very funny. Will some 'body' give me other ideas how we can hide this?" said the head.

"Hmm, duct tape." suggested the body.

"Let's try it." said the head.

The body got the duct tape and puts some on it's neck. The body puts her head on and it sort of work, but Yui's head was slipping. The body puts her hood on to keep the head from falling.

"This might work." said the head.

"Now, let's go downstairs, and go find out how we got separated." said the body.

Yui walked down stairs and spotted her mother making breakfast while her father is drinking coffee. As she tries to skip breakfast, she heard her mother say.

"Stop right there young lady. I know something is wrong in the morning." said the mother.

"You got me." said Yui.

"So, what happened?" asked the mother.

"Uh, would you believe me if I tell you that I can take my head off?" asked Yui.

"I would!" said the father, "Then I can finally have a supernatural case."

Both of Yui's parents have jobs that deals with being a detective. Yui's father is a real detective while her mother works as a psychologist. They both can tell what Yui is up too.

Yui proceeds to take her head off as both of her parents are shocked.

"Don't worry honey! I will investigate on who decapitated you and find out how you lived!" declared the father as he dropped his coffee and ran out to investigate.

"Impossible!" shouted the mother, "Maybe I'm stressing out or..."

Yui's mother fainted as Yui has no idea what to do now.

"What can we do?" asked Yui's head.

"Well I can't talk to them, but I can help mom out a bit. You sit at the table and eat some toast while I get mom to the couch."

Yui's body places her head on the kitchen table and stuff a piece of toast into her mouth.

The head muffle, "How can I eat without a stomach?"

"What if I told you than an Irish lady's voice told me that you can? It happened in a dream." said the body.

"I think I heard it too, but I forgot." said the head.

The body left while the head continues to nibble on the toast. The tv in the kitchen was still on as the head saw something odd. Commercials were playing and they all seemed to have one thing in common. There was an Irish purple haired lady for some reason.

One commercial features her as a volunteer for a magic act where her head is cut off. Another is a tech company add that involves jar heads. The strangest thing of all is that her voice is similar to the one in her dream.

Yui's head dropped the toast in her mouth as she found a clue to her state. Could this woman be responsible for everything that just happened?
